A origem universo é repleta de questionamentos do tipo: Como o tão falado Big Bang aconteceu? De onde tudo surgiu? Essas são perguntas bastante complicadas, pois não há somente uma explicação e resposta a elas, a teoria mais aceita atualmente é a do Big Bang, uma expansão de matéria e energia a qual originou todo o universo que conhecemos hoje, apoia-se, em parte, na teoria da relatividade do físico Albert Einstein e nos estudos dos astrônomos Edwin Hubble e Milton Humason, os quais demonstraram que o universo não é estático e se encontra em constante expansão.

Em 1948 foi anunciado pelo cientista russo, George Gamow, que o universo teria sua origem entre 13,7 e 14 bilhões de anos atrás. Outros creem na história contada pela igreja, a qual fala que tudo surgiu por uma força maior, chamada de criacionismo e outros ainda acreditam em teorias como a da seleção cosmológica, teoria M e a gravidade quântica.

The universe’s origin is full of questions like: How the so-called Big Bang happened? Where did it all come from? These are very complicated questions, because there is not only one explanation and answer for them, the most accepted theory today is the Big Bang, a large explosion that originated the entire universe we know today, it is based, in part, on the theory of relativity of the physicist Albert Einstein and the studies of the astronomers Edwin Hubble and Milton Humason that the universe is not static and is constantly expanding.
