A curiosity about the Cold War is that it was a war that made many people afraid and caused a destruction by global powers, maybe that was the moment that the humanity got more closer to the end of the world.

Between the end of World War 2 and the end of the 80s, US and USSR featured an arms race, in the end of the WW2 the US launched 2 atomic bombs in Japan with a destruction power never seen before. After the conflict the USA created the Hydrogen Bomb much more lethal and powerful than the one that was used against Japan, after that the USSR created the Tsar Bomb a more powerful bomb, the nuclear mushroom of this bomb has 10 Kilometers and a 50 Megatons explosive power.
