Every living being is composed of cells, and these organisms can be divided into single-celled (bacteria and protozoa) and pluricellular (animals and plants).
Cells can be divided into eukaryotes and prokaryotes:
- Prokaryotes: they do not present nucleus but nucleoid, and their genetic material is dispersed in the cytoplasm;
- Eukaryotes: they have nucleus and their genetic material is protected by membrane, being separated from the cytoplasm.
The cells are divided into parts (organelles),which are:
- mitochondria: responsible for performing cellular respiration (ATP);
- ribosome: responsible for performing protein synthesis;
- lysosome: it has enzymes to do digestion;
- peroxisome: detoxification;
- endoplasmic reticulum: has intracellular transport function;
- centriolos: performs the division of cell and the production off eyelashes and flagella;
- golgi complex: modifies, stores and transports proteins synthesized in the smooth and rough Endoplasmic Reticulum.

Todo ser vivo é composto por células, e esses organismos podem ser divididos em unicelulares (bactérias e protozoários) e pluricelulares (animais e plantas).
Células podem ser divididas em eucariontes e procariontes
- Procariontes: não apresentam núcleo mas sim nucleóide, e seu material genético fica disperso no citoplasma.
- Eucariontes: apresentam núcleo e seu material genético é protegido por membrana, ficando separado do citoplasma.
As células são divididas em partes, sendo elas:
- mitocôndria: responsável por realizar a respiração celular (ATP);
- ribossomo: responsável por realizar a síntese de proteínas;
- lisossomo: tem enzimas para fazer a digestão;
- peroxissomo: desintoxicação;
- retículo endoplasmático: tem a função de transporte intracelular;
- centríolos: realiza a divisão celular e a produção de cílios e flagelos;
- complexo de golgi: modifica, armazena e transporta proteínas sintetizadas no RER.
