During the forth bimester we worked with the theme inventions. Have you ever stopped to think how inventions are important to our lives? Could you imagine life without electricity, for example? I don’t think so. Or, the importance of the penicillin. How many lives the first antibiotic has saved? From old to modern inventions there is no doubt that the world is evolving year by year and technology is helping us to build a better and “easier” life. 

One of the lately inventions the world has seen is the drone. The first drone in Brazil reach the sky in 1983 and from that moment this kind of technology just took of (literally). Today, drones are use for many reasons, from important causes to have fun. 

Let’s take a look at some curiosities:  

Lifesaver drone: It was created to rescue surfers from attacks against sharks, it is very efficient because it warns surfers when sharks in the area avoid serious problems such as attacks that cause death.

Several lives will be spared with this invention in the future and is already being tested.

How to use: Once the drone spots a shark in the water, it’ll notify a lifeguard. And the lifeguard can use the loudspeakers to yell down to those in the water that they need to head to dry land.

Air selfie drone: is a very small drone that fits in your pocket, it takes amazing pictures from the angle you want

Parrot disco: it is the first drone created with fixed wings, it is an incredible experience, as it is like an airplane, and even accompanies VR glasses, to have an unusual reality

Prodrone: it is the first drone to have a multifunctional motorized arm, it is a robot drone that serves to transport equipment, cut cables, launch lifebuoys, and help humans in dangerous situations.
