A hereditariedade está relacionada à reprodução e refere-se ao fato de que os indivíduos têm características semelhantes às de se seus progenitores. Há duas principais formas de reprodução: 

Reprodução assexuada: forma simples de reprodução, apenas um individuo envolvido, gerando outros geneticamente iguais a ele. A evolução depende de modificações do indivíduo reprodutor principalmente por mudanças no meio em que vive.

Reprodução sexuada: reprodução que envolve a participação de células sexuais de indivíduos distintos. Esse tipo de reprodução tem como consequência a formação de organismos com maior variabilidade, ou seja, com várias características diferentes daqueles que lhes deram origem, permitindo assim mais facilmente a evolução da espécie. 

Reproduction and Heredity

Heredity is related to reproduction and refers to the fact that people have similar characteristics of their parents. There are two main forms of reproduction:

Asexual reproduction: simple form of reproduction, only one individual involved, generating others genetically equal to him. Evolution depends on changes in the reproductive individual, mainly due to changes in the environment in which they live.

Sexual reproduction: reproduction that involves the participation of sex cells from different individuals. This type of reproduction results in the formation of organisms with greater variability, that is, with several characteristics different from those that gave origin to them, allowing the evolution of the species more easily.
