Os regimes totalitários marcaram a história da humanidade por terem sido marcados por intensa crueldade. Os mais famosos foram o Nazismo, na Alemanha, e o Fascismo, na Itália. Mas, não se engane, governos inspirados por esses regimes foram muito além da Europa, acontecendo inclusive no Brasil.
Afinal, o que caracteriza um governo totalitário?
Por mais que tenham suas particularidades, todos eles têm características em comum, tais como: Culto ao líder, movimento de massas, propaganda e a violência.
Porém é muito importante exaltar figuras que infelizmente foram apagadas da história, mesmo tendo lutado muito por suas causas. Iremos falar um pouco sobre Maria Lacerda de Moura, uma pensadora pacifista e precursora do que se denomina, hoje em dia, anarcofeminismo.
Era considerada uma das primeiras antifascistas das Américas, levando seus ideais para seus livros e palestras. Em seu livro, Fascismo – Filho Dileto da Igreja e do Capital, de 1934, diz que “Calar hoje é ser cúmplice. Pratiquemos o crime inominável da coragem, no meio da covardia e do cinismo da hora presente”
Vivia em uma comunidade no interior de São Paulo, de anarquistas e desertores espanhóis, franceses e italianos da Primeira Guerra Mundial. A comunidade foi repreendida e desmanchada devido à repressão do Estado Novo.

Totalitarian regimes marked the history of mankind for having been marked by intense cruelty. The most famous were Nazism in Germany and Fascism in Italy. But governments inspired by these regimes have gone far beyond Europe, including in Brazil, but make no mistake. After all, what characterizes a totalitarian government? However, it is very important to exalt figures that unfortunately were erased from history, even having fought a lot for their causes. We will talk a little about Maria Lacerda de Moura, a pacifist thinker and precursor of what is called, nowadays, anarcho feminism. She was considered one of the first antifascists in the Americas, taking her ideals to her books and lectures. In his book, Fascism – Dileto Son of the Church and Capital, from 1934, he says that “To remain silent today is to be an accomplice. Let us practice the unspeakable crime of courage, in the midst of the cowardice and cynicism of the present hour” He lived in a community in the interior of São Paulo, made up of Spanish, French and Italian anarchists and deserters from the First World War.
The community was reprimanded and disbanded due to the repression of the Estado Novo.
