Os esportes de invasão são aqueles onde existem disputas de uma equipe que tenta ocupar o setor da quadra defendido pelo time adversário e tenta marcar pontos.  As quadras dos esportes de invasão são retangulares e no fundo da quadra há um lugar para poder pontuar podendo ser um gol ou cesta. 

EX: basquetebol, frisbee, futebol, futsal, handebol, pólo aquático, futebol, americano e etc.

Handebol:

  Um dos exemplos citados é o handebol, a grande diferença entre o futebol e o handebol é que o handebol é jogado com as mãos. Mas, em geral, é um esporte com bola, em que duas equipes disputam quem marca mais gols. 

Como jogar: são necessárias duas equipes de sete jogadores, sendo um deles o goleiro. O goleiro, durante as defesas, é o único jogador que pode tocar a bola com o pé. Em qualquer outro caso, a bola deve ser quicada, lançada ou recebida com as mãos. Já que falamos da bola, a oficial para a prática de handebol deve ser de couro e ter o peso correto entre o feminino e o masculino.

O local onde os jogadores jogam deve ter 40m x 20m e piso de madeira ou borracha. O horário de saída é de dois períodos de 30 minutos cada, com intervalo de 10 minutos. Proibido puxar a bola ou atacar o adversário. A equipe marca quando a bola cruza completamente a linha de gol.
